Pony Express Prayer (PEP) - FAQ
What?
- Pony Express Prayer, or PEP, is a Google Group set up by Western Star Cowboy Church to communicate prayer requests, see others prayer requests and respond to prayer requests via email. This requires access to the internet and email (this is not "texting").

Who?
- is managed by Elder Garry Tebbens and Senior pastor Bobby Bowden
- anyone who is a church member, in good standing, may join the group.

How?
- You must request membership to the group.
- You must request membership to the group.
- open the email you wish to use (Outlook, Yahoo, AOL, Gmail......)
- create a new email

Subject: Your name (Note: we need your name so we know who is actually making the request to join)

- You will receive a new email (usually less than 5 minutes, but sometimes longer). This is to verify your email is correct and
confirm that you want to join the group. Click the "Join This Group" button near the bottom of the email.

- A manager will receive notice that you have requested to join the group. Might take up to 24 hours for one of
them to add you to the group. You will receive a final email confirmation.

- That’s it! Once you receive the final email confirmation you will begin receiving emails and be able to post prayer requests.
